2.16.1 Body Language for AI Characters

Release 2.16.1 - October 6 2026

Written by Elie Mietkiewicz

Body language for AI Characters

Give your AI Characters a way of moving that matches who they are. The new Body language setting adds a persistent posture on top of your character's usual gestures, so an exhausted patient or an elderly customer keeps a slower, low-energy presence throughout the conversation, even while speaking or reacting with emotion.

  • Pick a body language from the Identity section of your AI Character: Joyful, the lively gestures you already know, or Tired, a slumped, slower and slightly shaky way of moving.

  • See the result right away in the simulation preview.

  • Your existing simulations stay exactly as they are: every AI Character keeps the Joyful body language until you change it.

Other improvements

  • On mobile, the camera now automatically centers on your AI Character, so learners always face the person they're talking to.

  • Learners on Brightspace can now use the Return to LMS button to go back to their course at the end of a simulation.

  • Users signing in with SSO now get the right role from their very first login.
